Environment and Livelihood
Projects are identifying economic injustices and related national and international policies adopted by the country and facilitate advocacy around these issues for policy changeor implementation. Projects search for alternative livelihoods that can be explored by depressed communities, marginalized and or vulnerable groups as a means to ensure livelihood security.
Approaches to ensure that communities are empowered to undertake their own conservation, protection and rehabilitation practices. Animation, Education, awareness raising, information sharing, silvicultural training, policy advocacy and other best practices shall form the various approaches Green Scenery will use to ensure this. The approach will be gender sensitive, while research will constitute a strong support for our approach.
