On 24 April 2022, With support from Christain through Irish Aid, Green scenery Provided three days capacity building for the Malen Affected Land Owner and Users Association(MALOA) Pujehun in research methods, information management, monitoring, project proposal planning and management. The training serves as Green Scenery’s continuing support for the MALOA land rights advocacy.
As a result of the capacity support from Green Scenery, MALOA now has a project and office space on its own.
The Key Executive member of MALOA, Bockaraie M.Karoma MALOA chairman, Hannah Deen the Chairlady, and Aminata Fabba the deputy charlady of MALOA see the achievements as a big opportunity in enhancing the sustainability impacts and advocacy work of MALOA. They said for quite too long they have been advocating for such opportunities especially the office space and the project which they will use for holding meetings, keep recording and other purposes. In the area of the project, they hope to use it to continue empowering its members, strengthening it advocacy work and adding more value to MALOA as an organisation.
MALOA applauded Green Scenery’s work and other development partners in providing such support and the capacity needed in making achieve such competitive advantage.
