Green Scenery Engaged Stakeholders and Communities on The Customary Land Rights Act and the National Land Commission Act 2022

On Saturday 12th August ,2023, With Support from Christian Aid through the implementation of the Irish Aid Programs Grant (IAPG111), Green Scenery raised the awareness of community members, and other relevant stakeholders in Burreh, Kasseh , Makonteh and Bakeloko Chiefdoms, Port Loko district on the Customary Land Rights Act and the National Land Commission Act 2022. The session attracted the attention of community members and other relevant stakeholders at community and Chiefdom levels.

Participants applauded Green Scenery’s support and described the intervention as relevant and laudable.

Kawuta Kamara, a persons with disability said, they appreciates Green  Scenery work in making sure communities are empowers the necessary knowledge  on the new land laws.

Similarly, on Monday 13th August 2023, Green Scenery engaged the District Multi-stakeholders Platform of Port Loko district on Green Scenery work especially on the thematic framework of the just approved Christian Aid-supported project (IAPG111).

The team also extended their engagement to Makeni (Bombali district ) doing similar activities. Similar engagement is scheduled for Pujehun. STAY TUNE
